Alonzo: Creating Memories and Overcoming Addiction
Alonzo hurt more than his body when he suffered an on-the-job injury in 1998. His ensuing addiction to morphine and pain medication left his life empty and without memories until he came to the Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) on Sept. 19, 2005. What started as a two-week stay at PaRC, turned into a life of fulfillment.
“I remember things now,” Alonzo said. “PaRC. Those are the people who help save your life if you really want your life saved."
Family, friends, memories. Alonzo found them all and a better life at PaRC.
