William: Waking up pain free without painkillers. His long nightmare is over.
William had been severely injured in a head-on collision in 1986. To cope with the chronic pain, he relied on painkillers for decades and then began chasing the painkillers with alcohol.
After being confined to a wheel chair, his addiction grew worse. His family took him to Memorial Hermann Prevention & Recovery Center. He learned to trust the program and his pain begin to diminish.
Now he is living a pain-free life without painkillers or alcohol.
