Memorial Hermann Prevention & Recovery Center's award-winning programs for drug and alcohol addiction include Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) in The Woodlands. We opened this program in 2006 to meet the needs of adults & teens needing outpatient rehab for alcohol or drug problems. PaRC's confidential programs are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and designed for individuals who meet the requirements for a less restrictive means of care than an inpatient setting. Admission to the program begins with a comprehensive evaluation at the Prevention & Recovery Center (PaRC). Learn more about our confidential admission process.

Adult Program Hours:
- Monday through Thursday, 6:00 - 9:00pm.
- Aftercare group is Thursday, 6:30 - 7:30pm.
Adolescent Program Hours:
- Monday through Thursday, 4:00 - 7:00pm.
- Aftercare group is Wednesday, 4:00 - 7:00pm

Frank Pietrowski, LCDC - Adult Program Counselor
Frank has spent 31 years in the counseling field. He served as President of the Houston Chapter Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP) for four years and continues his 15+ years on the Board of Directors. He has earned numerous Houston Chapter TAAP awards including the Jim Keesey Award, Counselor of the Year and the Hall of Fame Award. Frank served as Committee Chairperson for the Spectrum Conference for over 20 years and Committee Chairperson for the Annual Institute on Alcohol and Drug Studies. During his long career Frank has held a variety of roles including CEO, President, Program Director and Administrator. He is fully dedicated to his patients and his counseling work and has spent almost two decades traveling to Washington, D.C. to advocate for chemical dependency treatment.

Michelle Peterson, AAS, LCDC - Adolescent Program Counselor
Michelle has extensive teaching and facilitation experience including facilitation of large workshops, school programs, weekend retreats, individual and group counseling. Her specialties include program development; drug education and counseling; working with at-risk youth; conflict resolution training; and self-esteem building. She is also certified as a "Parenting with Love and Logic" educator. Michelle has appeared on the OPRAH show. She brings a unique holistic, mind-body wellness approach to her practice as an LCDC.
