Memorial Hermann Prevention & Recovery Center (PaRC) is Houston's premier drug and alcohol treatment center. Our Intensive Outpatient Program in Houston is rock-solid and will help you build a foundation for long-term sobriety. The disease of addiction can be managed and we can help you learn how to do it. All of our programs are nationally accredited and comprehensive. The first step is a clinical evaluation with a skilled Admissions Counselor at PaRC. Adult Program Hours are Monday - Thursday:
- Day Option: 10:00 - 1:00pm
- Evening Option: 6:00 - 9:00pm
- Aftercare Group is Thursday, 6:30 - 7:30pm
Adolescent Program Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:00pm

John Cleveland, BA, LCDC - Adult Program Counselor
Knowledgeable & Experienced
John has worked in the field of addiction treatment for 38 years. His career is extensive. John has worked as Director of a treatment program targeted toward criminal justice system patients and as Executive Director for a regional Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. John has also worked as a Care Manager for a managed care company; a Program Manager for a homeless agency providing services to the homeless; and as a co-founder and staff member of a drug crisis intervention center. John also spent a portion of his extensive career as an Employee Assistance Counselor and an Intervener for the Peer Assistance Program of the Texas Dental Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. For 16 years he also taught a course in Behavioral Pharmacology at the University of Houston. John has been with the PaRC team for five years.

Stacie Allphin, LCDC - Adolescent Program Counselor
Specialized Expertise
Stacie is Director of our Adolescent Program. She has worked in the field of addiction for over 12 years. Stacie is a Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor and holds a variety of certifications. She has presented at numerous conferences including the American Society of Group Psychotherapy & Psychodrama; the National Association of Social Workers; and the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. In 2008 Stacie presented a series of methamphetamine prevention workshops to over 6000 adolescents, parents and educators. She is currently President of the Houston Chapter of Texas Association of Addictions Professionals (TAAP). She also sits on the board for the Texas Addiction Professionals Peer Assistance Network and the Boys to Men Houston Chapter. In 2010, Stacie was voted TAAP's Houston Chapter "Counselor of the Year". She has been with the PaRC team for over four years.
